Connecting with iCims
There are two ways to connect with iCims to receive job feed data, using an API or a report transferred via SFTP. Learn more about the two options below.
API Connection
- As an iCims customer, you must request the API connection and stipulate Talentcare as your vendor
- iCims' security requires their customer (you) must start this process
- Once the connection is made, iCims will provide any necessary keys and access to us
- Total Completion Time Estimate: 4-6 weeks
- Up to 2 weeks for iCims to provide connection via API
- 2-4 weeks for Talentcare to complete the integration
Talentcare recommends this method due to the speed of setting up the integration.
SFTP File Transfer
- As an iCims customer, you must request the SFTP file transfer
- iCims creates a report and sends it to us via an SFTP
- We receive the report as a CSV file type and transfer it to another SFTP without any processing
- Our career site will pick up the file to post your jobs
- Total Completion Time Estimate: 3+ months
- Up to 3 months for iCims to create the file and send via SFTP
- 2-4 weeks for Talentcare to complete the integration
