Is there a fee for using the Paylocity integration?

  • Paylocity may charge a fee for the integration, but rates may vary based on variables such as usage and company size.

Pre-integration

  1. Contact your Paylocity representative to request a third party integration (See below for contact information)

  2. Paylocity is unique in that there are two options for configuring the integration

Mid-integration

API Configuration

  • More feedback is provided by Paylocity for candidates

  • There is no special data that needs to be sent

  • There are no pre-onboarding steps

FTP Configuration

  • The file transfer is completed by CSV and delivered via FTP to Paylocity

  • Works similarly as API integrations, with the same options for candidates

  • A status email is sent from Talentcare with the list of candidates included in the current transfer file
  • The normal processing time is daily at 3am Central.  
  • If additional processing is necessary, there is an option to run at Central times (9am, 12pm, 3pm, and 6pm)

Post-integration

API Configuration

  • A status email is sent with errors for each failed candidate

FTP Configuration

  • Paylocity will send out notifications from their system directly for individual errors.  Please discuss this option with your Paylocity Representative.

    • The files are either sent and delivered, or they fail to send and the candidate is not integrated
