Features of the Indeed JobSync Integration

Talentcare is pleased to introduce an upgraded Indeed JobSync integration designed to significantly boost your organic candidate flow on the Indeed platform. This integration adheres to Indeed’s established standards, ensuring that your job listings are optimized for maximum visibility and candidate flow.

Through the Indeed JobSync integration, you can supply Indeed with richer and more detailed information than what a standard XML feed typically provides. This enriched data allows Indeed to identify you as an "active employer," which enhances the visibility of your job postings in organic search results. *To qualify for the "active employer" badge, ensure you’re regularly processing candidates to hire or disqualify.

While Indeed does not guarantee results, greater data accuracy and activity often lead to better organic reach for your positions!

 

Indeed Integration API Terms and Policies

The use of this Indeed Integration is at all times governed by;

  1. Indeed’s terms of service (Terms of Service)
  2. Indeed’s cookie policy (HR Tech Privacy)
  3. Privacy policy (HR Tech Privacy)

You will be required to agree to these terms and policies before enabling the JobSync integration.

  • Your Job Listings will now be included in a comprehensive feed delivered to the Indeed Platform, which includes Job Search | Indeed together with the global domains in other jurisdictions and all websites owned by Indeed and its Affiliates which syndicates Job Listings, including but not limited to SimplyHired, Free Resume Builder - Create & Download Easily and Glassdoor;
  • If Indeed Apply is enabled, applicants will now be able to apply to your company’s Job Listings on Indeed using the Indeed Apply functionality;
  • Applicants will now apply to your Job Listings on Indeed and the resulting application will be ingested by the ATS integration, and applicants will NOT be directed to your career pages to apply for a job;
  • You can explicitly opt-out of the JobSync Integration and/or Indeed Apply feature by disabling either one in the tenant configuration settings (below) for this integration.

Q: Can Indeed Apply be configured on a job-by-job basis?

A: No, enabling Indeed Apply affects ALL of your jobs, and disabling it does the same.

 

Q: How long after enabling or disabling the Indeed Jobsync integration will my job listings change status on Indeed?

A: When enabling or disabling the Indeed Jobsync integration, your jobs will remain unchanged until the process runs overnight. Changes will be seen the next day.

 

Q: When enabling or disabling Indeed Apply, how soon can I expect to see the change reflected on Indeed?

A: Because every job needs to be changed to either use or disuse Indeed Apply, this intensive process takes place overnight. Changes will be seen the next day.

 

Q: How long do changes to my job details take to reflect on Indeed?

A: Changes to job details will be reflected on Indeed within 2-4 hours.

 

Q: How would Career Site distribution affect Indeed distribution with this integration?

A: The Indeed Jobsync API and Career Site are explicitly linked together. If Career Site distribution is disabled, then Indeed distribution  is disabled.
