Find out more about what our SOAP Integrations are and how they work.
What is a SOAP Integration?
SOAP stands for Simple Object Access Protocol, and is one of the methods used by some of our third parties for integration.
-
SOAP Interface is similar to API, but is an older version
-
Setting up a SOAP Interface integration allows us to connect to the third party to send/receive data between applications
How does SOAP Integration work?
-
Typically, you, the client, will need to contact the third party that is to be used for integration to initiate the process
-
Once contact is made, we receive any resources from the third party and begin the setup of the SOAP Interface integration
-
After the integration is set up, we proceed with sending candidates over to the third party, along with information for candidates based on the required fields
-
If any candidates fail to send to the third party, we retry sending the failures
-
After 5 failed attempts, a Support Ticket needs to be submitted to find out what the issue is and potentially manually enter the candidate
-
Not sure how to submit a ticket? Find out more here: Submitting a Support Ticket
